AAMVA held the third NMVTIS State Users Workshop in Indianapolis, Indiana, from July 9-10. The theme was “NMVTIS: Start your Engines.” There were 142 attendees representing 48 jurisdictions, representing NMVTIS users in the vehicle titling, help desk, information technology and law enforcement. The workshop provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss technology sunsetting; vehicle fraud trends and tools/resources to mitigate; electronic titling; NMVTIS tools/resources, including use of reports, State Web Interface (SWI) and the Law Enforcement Access Tool (LEAT). Attendees participated in lively and engaging peer to peer discussions, enhancing collaboration and networking. Photos from the event are available in the NMVTIS State Users Workshop Flickr album.
